Inside Justice launches groundbreaking new web portal

(Posted on 14/06/24)

Inside Justice is delighted to announce the launch of our groundbreaking new web portal to simplify access to our services for applicants and their families.

Accessed via the IJ website, the portal allows users to report a miscarriage of justice and apply online for help from the charity.

Crucially, applicants can securely upload supporting case papers, which can be lost or damaged in transit.

The portal is secure and encrypted.

We are grateful to the WCIT Charity for their generosity in supporting this project.

Inside Justice now receives more than a thousand applications for our support every year, an increase of more than 600% since 2018.

The portal also provides other features as well as the ability to report a suspected miscarriage of justice:

  • Guidance around the miscarriage of justice sector
  • Advice on how to understand and navigate the appeal process
  • Links and signposting to other organisations
  • Downloadable application criteria and guidance
  • Downloadable court forms to apply to obtain case papers

As soon as an applicant uploads their documents, the portal notified us immediately, and allows us to process the application securely.

Our charity is completely reliant on donations. If you wish to support us please click here.
