Inside Justice is a national, award-winning charity that investigates miscarriages of justice. We’re now expanding our work into Scotland and are seeking an experienced, values-led professional to lead our Scottish casework operations.
This is a rare opportunity to take up a pivotal leadership role, supporting prisoners who maintain their innocence, uncovering new evidence, and working towards justice and systemic change. You’ll bring senior experience of complex criminal casework within the Scottish legal system, along with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, conduct rigorous reviews and investigations, and represent Inside Justice in Scotland at the highest levels.
The role is part-time (c.1 day per week) and can be structured flexibly as an employee or consultant arrangement. You will work closely with our CEO, Head of Casework (England and Wales) and be supported by colleagues and an Advisory Panel of pro bono experts in law, forensics, and investigation.

· Salary: £45,000 FTE (pro rata for one day/week)
· Contract: Part-time, flexible
· Location: Scotland (remote with travel as required)
